Our Partners
At Project Soar, we are proud to collaborate with a diverse network of partners who share our mission of empowering teen girls to become leaders and change-makers.
Our partners are vital in helping us uplift girls, their families, and communities. Together, we are driving transformative change and building a future where every girl can thrive.
Since 2021, Project Soar is the UNFPA strategic partner in Morocco on education and raising awareness of menstrual health & hygiene. Unfpa Morocco is currently supporting our teen girls empowerment program for 3 squads in Amizmiz (Morocco).
Project Soar has proudly partnered with GlobalGiving since 2019. Through this impactful platform, we’ve raised funds to expand our empowerment programs, deliver sustainable menstrual health products, and provide essential emergency relief following the 2023 earthquake in Marrakech. In 2024, Project Soar was honored to be named a Top-Ranked organization by GlobalGiving.
Since 2021, the Norwegian Embassy has been a valued supporter of Project Soar, helping the organization fulfill its mission to empower marginalized girls in Morocco. Through our ongoing program “Girls Soar with the Norwegian Embassy”, active in 12 locations across 6 regions, 450+ adolescent girls will receive 1,200+ hours of leadership training.

Project Soar has been awarded a generous grant from Amplify Change to expand our BIGGER Movement, empowering Moroccan teen girls to advocate for menstrual health rights. This support enables us to strengthen Soar Clubs across eight marginalized communities, equipping girls with the knowledge and tools to advocate for improved menstrual health care within their schools and beyond.
Peace Winds Japan and Peace Winds Korea have been invaluable allies following the 2023 earthquake in Marrakech and surrounding areas. Thanks to their support, Project Soar has been able to provide essential menstrual health education and supplies to over 1,500 girls impacted by the disaster.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, Project Soar signed a Partnership Convention with the AREF, the governmental body with oversight over all schools in the Marrakech-Safi region to partner in providing menstrual and mental health workshops to relocated teen survivors of the Moroccan earthquake.
The sustainable fashion label Lemlem has made a generous contribution to Project Soar, enabling us to enhance menstrual hygiene and management for 660 underserved 8th-grade girls across 3–4 middle schools in the Marrakech-Safi region. Through this support, Project Soar will deliver impactful workshops and distribute Soar x Hurya menstrual underwear kits, providing essential resources and education to empower these girls.
Project Soar has been awarded a grant from the Swiss Embassy in Morocco to provide girls in five marginalized communities with reusable menstrual products. These kits will meet their menstrual health needs for 3-5 years.

With the Fund's support, Project Soar has equipped Soar girls with enhanced advocacy and leadership skills, empowering them to be vocal leaders and change-makers within their communities.
Over the past three years, Personio, the HR management software company, has played a crucial role in supporting Project Soar. Their generous unrestricted funding has provided essential resources to sustain our work, and their free access to advanced software has enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of our HR team.
The Akharas Foundation, established by our board member Hadi Akharas, has been an invaluable partner in supporting Project Soar's mental health initiatives. Their contribution has been instrumental in addressing the mental health needs of teen earthquake survivors. Additionally, the Foundation is sponsoring a group of Soar Girls to participate in an upcoming robotics competition in Casablanca, further empowering them through education and innovation.
